 Shipping & personalization

PLEASE NO PO BOXES! To prevent any delay with your order being processed, please make sure you have provided a physical address. 

Addresses, personalization & gift messages are used exactly how they are given at the time of purchase unless told otherwise within 48 hours of purchase. PLEASE double check!

Once an item is shipped it is out of my hands. I do not have any control over delays within USPS or FedEx. I create & ship out orders within the processing time provided in my shop.

If you provide the wrong shipping address Freckled Lemons is not responsible for paying for it to be reshipped nor can we replace it and postage cannot be refunded once an item attempts to ship to you. If an item is returned to me for insufficient address, USPS does not reimburse me for that shipping label in order to purchase a new one. You will need to pay for the new shipping label.

Damaged/Lost packages

 Doormats shipped with Priority Mail have insurance included up to $100. If your package is lost or damaged in transit a free replacement will be provided once USPS approves the claim. Please note: You will need to keep the damaged item AND packaging as USPS may require you to take this to your local post office to examine the damaged contents for the replacement claim. Failure to keep and present these items within the timeframe provided by USPS will forfeit your option for a free replacement. freckled lemons will provide a replacement at a discounted price. If USPS reviews the replacement claim and does not approve a replacement, you will be able to purchase a replacement at a discounted price (our material cost + shipping).

Stolen packages

All doormat packages are tracked and insured, and a claim will need to be filed through USPS or Fedex if the package is lost. Freckled Lemons is not liable for lost or stolen packages once they have been turned over to USPS(Fedex). If the package is stolen after it's been delivered, a police report will need to be provided and a USPS claim filed in order to receive a discount on a replacement (our cost + shipping).

Delivery issues due to shipping carrier error

We are not responsible for issues that may arise with the shipping carrier. If there is a scan within carrier tracking that seems incorrect (incomplete address, return to sender, vacant, etc) You will need to contact the carrier first to see if they can correctly deliver your item. If an item is returned to sender, I am not reimbursed for that label in order to purchase a new one. You will need to pay for the new label. If your package is marked DELIVERED but you have not received it you need to 1. look around your delivery area 2. reach out to neighbors 3. contact the carrier. Once the carrier can provide proof of error a claim can be filed & replacement can be sent. If proof is not provided you can purchase replacement at a discount price.
